Beings & Creatures
Chapter 1: On Demaged Earth

Opening of the exhibition:
Friday, March 18, 2022, 18:00 to 24:00

Participating artists:
Böhler & Orendt, Robert Gabris, Stefan Glettler, Paul Lässer, Andrea Palašti, Naomi Rincón Gallardo, Marie Vermont

In 2022, < rotor > is all about our “other-than-human” companions. Present and ephemeral, apparently real and allegedly imaginary beings and creatures will make their appearance. Thereby, humans do not occupy a special position in the sense of posthumanism, they represent one of very many species.

The first chapter of the upcoming series of exhibitions gathers contributions by artists whose works reflect on the existence of beings on a planet Earth that has been damaged by humanity. These works address the threats to species and diversity, take on the role of vulnerable beings, look for alliances and sketch ways out.
