This exhibition marks the beginning of a longer series of exhibitions with artistic positions that stand up for a diverse society and against illiberal tendencies—in Austria, in Europe and beyond.
Initially, works by visual artists will be shown and discussed that deal with present anti-fascist struggles, the preservation of basic democratic rights and social orders beyond the concept of nations.

Conversation with Petra Gerschner and Michael Backmund (artist, journalist and activist). From the Munich Revolution 1918/19 to the current demonstrations in the public space, in German.

Discussion. Sibylle Summer (Spokeswoman Republican Club - New Austria), Lukas Beck (Photographer). On the genesis of the Republican Club - New Austria and the "Waldheim Horse", in German.

Curatorial conversation about the exhibition. Guest: Milica Tomić (IZK - Institute for Contemporary Art, Graz University of Technology), in English.

Friday, 3.8.2018, 4:00 – 6:30 pm
Workshop with RISOGRAD (artists). Public speeches and their resisting potential. A collage print workshop.

Last day of the exhibition. Guided tour through the exhibition with Margarethe Makovec & Anton Lederer (<rotor>´s leading duo).
